STUDIO FLAT IN THE HISTORIC CENTER OF TURIN

In the heart of the city we designed and realised a decor that was both elegant and functional given the small size of the property.

The open space area has been clad in light lacquered boiserie, the linear kitchen is hidden behind a mirrored sliding panel, while the foldaway bed is concealed behind a panel with a tromphe l’oeil image directly engraved into the lacquered panel. A sliding boiserie panel provides access to the bathroom.

The colours of the boiserie and of all the accessories echo the tones in Turin in the first half of the eighteenth century, such as ivory and lagoon green. We used English floral taffeta and brocades in the curtains and in the sofa The fireplace and the table are original period pieces.
